Terje Håkonsen explains: Rethinking snowboarding

The patented Doubledeck® technology: carve better and jump higher

DOUBLEDECK® was developed to go beyond previous standards in terms of technology. Read here what the newly developed technologies CPS®, ICS® & Co. are all about:

All boards consist of the motherboard and the curved bow construction, the CONVEX PRESSURE BOW SYSTEM® (CPS).

The INVERSE CONCAVE BENDING SYSTEM® (ICS) allows the motherboard, and thus the entire board, to be bent along its longitudinal axis by up to 45 degrees.

In combination with the patented CPS® technology, this creates a spring effect. As a result, this enables better power transmission to the edges and gives the rider more control and precision when carving. Beginners and advanced users benefit from the enhanced carving effect thanks to the SUPERSLIDE RAILSYSTEM®, which makes the boarding experience much more intense, intuitive and accelerated.

Because whether you're an experienced snowboard pro or a rank beginner, DOUBLEDECK® snowboards have something to offer everyone. The CPS® technology automatically corrects the riding style, enables easier initiation of turns and prevents the dreaded canting as well as dangerous falls. For the pros, the fun doesn't come too short with the new way of snowboarding either, because thanks to the higher pop, the jumps go even higher.

And that's how snowboard pro Terje Håkonsen describes it:

"You get more support from the board. My riding style is more aggressive and more focused. Its a carving-machine!"

By the way, the DOUBLEDECK® can be ridden with any binding and snowboard boot.

ISPO AWARD WINNER 2022 - EXCELLENT INNOVATION

DOUBLEDECK® technology impressed the experts at ISPO Munich and was awarded the ISPO Award 2022. This underlines the revolutionary nature of the new technology and confirms its high quality and performance.

The motherboard is equipped with a patented inverse concave bending system and can be bent up to 45 degrees in its longitudinal axis alone. In addition, a patented convex compression bend system is mounted on top of the motherboard, bridging the board from tip to tail.

The bindings are mounted on top of the bow. Your own body weight as you step into the binding transfers the force to the effective edge points of the board. This enables a more precise ride that facilitates carving and jumping. The DOUBLEDECK® concept with the spring effect makes it easier for beginners to get into snowboarding and prevents jamming.

The rail system, especially the patented SUPERSLIDE RAILSYSTEM®, gives advanced snowboarders a better pop when jumping and corrects a wrong landing by snapping back to the starting position to avoid tilting.

The bow is versatile and will be further developed for different conditions in different flexes in the future.
